
Kevin Shaw is a writer and editor.
Originally from London, ON, Kevin completed a PhD in English Literature at the University of Western Ontario. His poems have appeared in The Malahat Review, Arc, Contemporary Verse 2, PRISM international, The Fiddlehead, Grain, and elsewhere. He won Arc’s Poem of the Year award and the Grand Prize in the PRISM international Poetry Contest.
Kevin’s essays and reviews have been published in The New Quarterly, Event, The Literary Review of Canada and The Best Canadian Essays anthology.
His debut poetry collection, Smaller Hours, was published by icehouse poetry (Goose Lane Editions). He lives in Ottawa with his husband, Ben, and their very good dog, Emma.
